My name is Tiffani Oliver and I am thrilled to be teaching first grade this year at Santa Sophia Academy. I am very blessed to have had the opportunity to be a part of Santa Sophia’s middle school and preschool teaching staff as well! I am a native San Diegan. I grew up in East County. I cannot imagine a better place to live.

I earned my B.A. in Integrated Education and my multiple subject teaching credential from Point Loma Nazarene University. I also earned an A.A. in General Education with Emphasis in Math and Science, and child development permit from Cuyamaca College. After spending nearly 20 years as CEO and administrator for a public charity that provided long term care for people with developmental disabilities, I was called to the teaching profession. I love everyday I have the privilege to teach and guide the children and strive to meet the individual needs of all my students.

Now that my two amazing children have left the nest, my husband and I spend our free time walking our
German Shepard, Peyton, at the beach and in the mountains. I love to travel, mountain bike, skate,
dance, waterski, and anything active outdoors.

I am grateful to be apart of this wonderful academy that shares my beliefs and values, holds high
standards for community involvement, and makes faith the foundation of their education.
